ALLOW for mistakes in life-everyone makes them.

BELIEVE in yourself, because few others will believe in you.

CHANGE what you can in life-leave the rest up toGod.

DARE to dream -without dreams life is pointless.

ENJOY all the good that life gives you, so you'll have happy memories in the bad times.

FORGIVENESS is a precious gift that everyone wants to recieve but no one wants to give.

GIVE GOD a place in your heart and he'll give you a place for all eternity.

HAPPINESS found in material things will be short-lived.

I Believe God is a lifestyle not a religion.

JOY is what you get after all the bad has been squeezed out of life.

KEEP your eyes,ears, and mind open and Your mouth shut, you'll learn more.

LIVING is never easy but always worth the effort and the outcome.

MAKING friends in life , makes a difference in life.

NO ONE has the right to speak my mind but everyone will try.

ONLY one person's opinion of me counts....God's.

PERPLEXING problems are solved by prayer.

QUESTIONING ourselves about our purpose in life...helps us find one.

RESIST the need to prove you're Right and Revel in the "secret" that you are.

SOMETIMES I feel like a nut...most of the time I am..

TRUST ME...Now I've learned those words make me Tremble.

UNTIL you know God's love, you've known no love.

VACATION now means 5 minutes of quiet time as opposed to 5 days off work.

WHATEVER you do in Life, affects another life.

X-TRA-ORDINARY things happen in the lives of ordinary people.

YELLING will never get as much attention as the silent treatment.

ZEAL for living, comes from the small victories over our 'big battles".

I can't help but wonder just what lessons you have learned in life. Care to share some? I can hardly wait to read them.

Remember that YOU are not the only person who has ever failed.

Remember that FAILURE teaches you HOW to SUCCEED, and what NOT to DO.

Remember that DREAMS can only come true if you BELIEVE in them, and that this world would be a very sad place if we could NOT DREAM bigger than the moment.

Remember that your life has a purpose even when we don't understand the circumsatances we face...in the end all that matters is making the MOST of life.

If we can concentrate on the POSITIVES of life...well HAVE NO TIME left for thinking about the negatives.

THIS my FRIEND is the SECRET to HAPPINESS...LOVE YOURSELF JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.

Think God has done nothing for you today.

If you were safe through the night THANK GOD.

Did you and other members of your family wake up this morning? Thank God.

If you are reading this then God has blessed you with SIGHT...THANK GOD.

Were you able to get out of bed today? Thank God.

Did you breathe in GODS FRESH air today...Thank GOD.

We spend so much time trying to thank God for all the BIG things in life that we forget the everyday MIRACLES and BLESSINGS of life.

YES, my friend YOU indeed was BLESSED today....

THANK GOD.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

I am from the country and we are some strange folk. Just ask my little girl who goes crazy when I come up with little sayings, or superstitions, or odd things from home. Now the amazing thing is the things that healed me when I was sick back then are against the law today but they worked. Sayings that I heard when growing up still work for me today and there is no explaination. You'll always find something interesting here.

Daddy had a lot of sayings and I was only ten when he died so I don't remember a lot of them, but for those I do remember I am thankful.

POISON SUMAC with leaves of SEVEN will not a PICNIC be, and you'd be wise not to touch green leaves if you count them and they have three, THAT'S POISON IVY.

If your RIGHT hand itches you will greet a stranger or someone at your door. If your LEFT hand itches you will recieve MONEY you never had before.

MY LEFT hand has never itched that I have not recieved unexpected money...don't know why...strange huh?

RED skies at night means a SAILORS delight, but RED skies in the morning means you'd better heed warning.
