AN OPEN DOOR

Where would I have been, what would I have become,  If God had not found me a good stable home.

Orphaned and homless this young girl would have been,  If a good-hearted couple had not taken me in.

Both old in thier years, me just 15 months old, what a handful of sorrow for those two to hold.  But they taught me good values and read me God's word, and told me that they placed me in the hands of the Lord.

Years passed by quickly now they both are gone, but I thank God they gave me a good Christian home.

An open door when God knocked at the door of thier heart, and gave this poor orphan a good healthy start.

Now I am thankful for thier love and so many things more, and when I knock on thier mansion,  they'll open thier door.
